About Jewels of the Nile

“It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer.”

Teacher Training Programmes

Passion for the art form . . . you will feel it in her dance classes, see it in her performances and recognise it in her dedication when it comes to Charlotte’s teacher training. Charlotte would only grow and develop experienced and capable dancers into teachers if they are as committed to maintaining the splendour and integrity of the dance as she is.

Because exceptional standards are synonymous with Charlotte and the Jewels of the Nile, Charlotte has travelled extensively and attended numerous workshops with top international teachers, to ensure it is maintained.

The certification process/course per level is, by necessity, hands-on and includes both practical and theoretical material. Charlotte carefully guides and coaches each teacher in order for them to be the best, and uniquely individual that they possibly can be as a Jewels teacher with their students. Comfort zones are expanded and personal boundaries are pushed and constructively transformed into tacit working material. When successful teacher training is completed certificates are issued per level achieved.

There are 2 relevant options in the teachers' programme available:

1. Teacher enrichment classes geared towards existing teachers who wish to step out of comfort zones and grow their personal teaching style, with effective communication skills.
2. Part-time teacher certification courses for experienced students and performers for teaching in Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced levels.
